Investment Criteria

SVPC invests in initiatives or organizations that are open to and can benefit from a "hands on" collaboration that includes volunteer involvement by SVPC Partners. We look for Investees with a commitment to visionary change, organizational growth, and an ability to establish and achieve measurable results. SVPC has established the following criteria for the nonprofit organizations and social initiatives in which we invest:

• Seek to address a critical social problem and demonstrate an innovative approach to accomplishing change;
• Seek to launch, expand or replicate an innovative program;
• Have the ability to make use of and interact with SVPC's volunteer and professional resources;
• Are willing to evaluate their program and measure their outcomes;
• Have a clear path to sustainability after SVPC's investment;
• Have the ability to leverage SVPC's investment;
• Are community oriented and collaborative.
